Baja tambien

Mark and I just got back from our Mexican holiday a few weeks ago. We hadn't been in about two years and it was nice to go back to Punta Chivato and La Paz.

This was in Punta Chivato. We have never actually been in the pool on the ten years we have been going. It has always been too cold. I guess that's the price we pay since we only go in the off season. The upside is we usually have the resort to ourselves. (As Elmer Fudd would say: "Vewy vewy quiet". Here are a few more:

The view from our room

Dinner. Not really.
Margaritas by sunset.
It was a grueling schedule to keep: Breakfast at 9, read or nap (me), mountain bike (Mark), Lunch at 1pm, tennis from 2-3:30, shower, read or play guitar or walk the beach or nap (me), mountain bike (Mark), Sunset drinks at 5:45, rest, dinner at 7:45, read, sleep, repeat.

Here is El Angel Azul in La Paz. Great little B&B. I love going to La Paz. It's a real city and not too touristy. Although there is alot of new construction that is scaring me a little.
One day we drove to Todos Santos (good surfing) but we just drove the 40 minutes to eat fabulous pizza:
Il Giardino. Soo delicious. Real wood-fired oven, a bit spendy ($20), but literally one of the best pies evah.
Now that I'm home I have to exercise off all the tortillas and camarones al ajillo. DOH.
We have been coming to El Angel Azul for about 10 years too. We love the suite on the second floor. It has a huge deck overlooking the garden:

Sunset on the rocks in PC.

La Pista (runway) at Punta Chivato. Yes, it's dirt and can be squirrely.

Starfish on the beach. The starfish quesadillas were really interesting. Oh just kidding.

Here are the beds in the suite:

The suites here are brand new. They even have a 2 bedroom master suite. Great views and the shower is a rock walled room:

(Take at me other blog, OUR DAILY BED . Different beds that I like for all different reasons)
