Well it may be trite, but those holiday pounds sure are stubborn. I did join a new gym though. Being in the LA area I am bound to see a few celebs there. Yesterday, I say "The Rock", Duane Johnson. Usually I am not a "looker" but darn if he didn't look good. Quite handsome and built like a brick ****house. Yikes. Watching from across the floor, more than a few folk stopped him to say hello and he seemed nonplussed and friendly. Oh the Scorpion King has a soft side.....
Finally upgraded my 2g ipod to an 8o gig video thingy. After almost three weeks, I attempted to put videos on it. It only took maybe 4 hours of research to find the correct manual that told me to click "convert to ipod". Well at least I can watch the first episode of "Heroes" now. I do like listening to my audiobook at the gym. "Voyager" is pretty good and at 36 cds long a good library check-out. I could never listen to the whole thing in the month I am given.
I am about to be an aunt for the 8th time. My sister chose not to find out the sex ahead of time. I guess since it's their third, a little surprise would be welcome. I am set to travel to Chicago on Super Bowl Sunday-Go Bears! Unfortunately, it will be freezing there while LA finally warms up. Nothing to do but drown my chills in deep dish sausage pizza. mmm
